After witnessing an unusual assault of her fellow backing singer, Soul Diva runs out of town and takes refuge where she thinks she won’t be found, A Jamaican Church! Disguised under a new identity by The Church Deacon she soon finds fans amongst the choir members, but makes the wrong impression on the Pastor (Kane Brown), who falls in love with her and makes every attempt to woo her. However this all fails and so the Pastor turns to Obeah (Voo Doo).

Meanwhile Soul Diva is directed to focus her attention to the church’s off-key choir, more looking like a bunch of comedians (Wayne ‘Dibbi’ Rollins) and then of course there is the choirs’ own ‘liccle’ star rude ‘bwoy’ (Tippa Irie) adding potency to the mix. Undeterred not, the Soul Diva makes it her personal mission whilst she’s undercover to help them all find their true voices even though her own cover could actually be blown.

With the masked ‘man’ giving chase, is time running out? Or has there been an underestimation about the power of Obeah and Love?

Produced and directed by Cosmo Morgan, this family friendly show offers live musical support via ‘The MAC Band’, who’ll keep you entertained with a mixture of funk, soul, reggae and gospel, whilst you absorb the storyline of love, dedication, self -belief, and bear witness to the unique and hilarious, white rum drinking pastor’s, unorthodox way of getting his message across to his church.
